Purchase Ledger Clerk | Accrington | Permanent | 33 days holiday | Onsite parking | Video Interviews next week Your new company An expanding business in Accrington, Lancashire are seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger clerk to join their team on a permanent basis. This business has grown significantly throughout the past 18 months, consisting of a number of acquisitions and mergers. Your new role As Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will report into the Group Management Accountant and be responsible for the full end to end purchase ledger process for 10 subsidiary companies. Your role will involve processing a high number of purchase invoices, processing monthly payment runs and making payments via BACS. Alongside this, you will be responsible for setting up of new supplier accounts, supplier statement reconciliations, filing invoices and processing staff expenses. This is a full time role, which will be worked between Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm or 8:30am - 4:30pm. What you'll need to succeed Experience of working in a similar role previously would be essential, with the ability to pick up new, bespoke systems. You would have excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment and have great team working skills. Due to the current circumstances, you will have to be available for a video style interview, either on Skype or Microsoft Teams. What you'll get in return In return, you will be offered a full time salary of £19000 per annum alongside a generous benefits package, which will include 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays and contributory pension scheme.
