Overview
The Temporary division of Robert Half Finance & Accounting is recruiting for a Payroll Supervisor to cover maternity for our client in Watford. The role will be expected to last between 9 and 12 months and the key duties are as follows; To ensure the weekly payroll is produced in a timely and accurate manner To action appropriate SSP, SMP, A.O.E, manual Tax Calculations To complete weekly & monthly payroll reconciliation and journals as necessary To be a point of contact for all pay related queries To provide information to the HR Team where necessary To play a key role in Payroll systems development and Project implementation as required To co-ordinate the incident tracker and insurance claims process, including direct liaison with Operations and external parties, to help prevent potential claims and reduce liability To provide regular reporting with a primary focus in key areas of cost control including utilities, labour forecasting / actual and weekly P&L reporting Assist the Management Accounts Team with weekly reporting and month end duties including P&L review To assist the Group Finance Controller and Payroll Supervisor where necessary To oversee the Payroll dept in Manager's absence (including monthly payroll and expenses) The position is paying up to 30k on a fixed term basis - There are also free parking and excellent facilities onsite.
