Private Client Tax Manager - Top 25 Accountancy Practice Salary - up to £65,000 Location - London The Role: Reporting to the Principals and Partners, the Manager will have their own interesting and varied portfolio of clients including a mix of high profile individuals, professional persons, partnerships, entrepreneurs, and non-UK domiciled clients. The Manager will have the opportunity to work with an enthusiastic, successful and motivated team. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the role will be to look after the day to day running of a portfolio of clients. Responsibilities will include: Delivering technical advice, seeking opinions from Principals and Partners where necessary Supporting Partners and Principals in delivering complex advisory work to clients Billing clients Monitoring junior staff, providing feedback and answering queries where necessary Identifying business development and cross-selling opportunities Co-ordinating the compliance process for clients Attending manager meetings and assisting with ideas for implementation in the department Other ad hoc duties in line with the role The Candidate: The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate: A minimum of 6 years' personal tax experience within a practice environment A proactive attitude The ability to work in a team The ability to work under pressure and prioritise where necessary Good communication and organisational skills Experience of dealing with non-doms and HNWIs Strong Microsoft Office experience The successful candidate must have experience of reviewing tax returns and handling a portfolio of clients, and they should also be commercially aware regarding billing and marketing. The successful candidate should be CTA qualified. We would also prefer the successful candidate to have some working knowledge of Digita software, although training will be provided if not.
