Overview
Site Manager My client are a privately owned house builder based in Lancashire specialising in private developments across the Lancashire region. They currently have a requirement for a Site Manager to join a new development with approx. 100 units Kendal. This exclusive development of luxury homes offers a collection of 3, 4 and 5 bedroom semi-detached and detached homes. All traditionally built using natural stone and designed with modern living in mind. Site Manger role Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for controlling all site operations on a daily basis, duties will include but not limited to: " Ensure continuity of all subcontract works " Carry out regular safety inspection of all site operations " Prepare materials schedules " Liaise with Materials Controller to ensure adequate storage and protection of materials " Supervise day to day operations and direct labour " Maintain daily site records " Maintain quality control on site and ensure compliance with the specification " Liaise with Site Manager in preparation of short-term programmes " Attend weekly staff meetings " Maintain all aspects of the requirements laid down by the Health & Safety Executive and the factory inspectorate, including all reports for the Company Safety/Security Officer " Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations " Motivate all site personnel to maintain 'team spirit' " Promote and enhance the company image Skills & Experience The successful Site Manager must have previous experience working on new build housing developments delivering properties to a high standard. You will ideally come from trade background (joinery / bricklaying) and will have good eye for detail. It is also essential to hold valid SMSTS and First Aid Certificate and a relevant CSCS card. In return for your skills the company are offering £50-55k, company car or car allowance of £5,000, contributary pension scheme, 28 days holidays plus bank holidays.
