Overview
Associate Director - Building Design Epsom £55-65K DOE Astute Technical Recruitment are looking for an Associate Director to help deliver ambitious plans for the Building Design practice in the region and across the UK. The Role For this role you will be required to manage and inspire a team through strong and inclusive leadership and provide mentorship to engineering staff. You will play a key role in the growth and development of the Building Structures team in the South East, whilst developing existing and new client relationships and overseeing staff development. This role will also require you to be flexible and willing to travel, if required. Responsibilities Sustain and develop relationships with existing and prospective clients Manage projects to programme, budget and quality Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation Develop free proposals, lead bids and opportunities across market sectors Lead and co-ordinate multi-disciplinary project teams to complete projects to meet client aspirations The Candidate As the ideal candidate you will be a Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer with the MICE or MIStructE. You will be commercially aware with a strong technical background and be experienced in leading projects with clients facing roles and managing teams. You will have a proven track record of successful delivery and client management and a broad understanding of industry BIM requirements. You will also need to have experience within the design building structures, conceptual design, change management, quality assurance processes and project or team collaboration.
