Overview
Market leading multi-disciplinary looking for an Associate BD Consultant (MEP) to join their school market Your new company You new company is a Tier 1 multi-disciplinary who operate across the globe and dominate the construction sector. A global design, engineering and project management consultancy are looking to strengthen their School sector department in Surrey. They are looking for an Associate BD Consultant (School Market, Building services), to come into their team and drive the amount of work being bought into the business. Your new role You will be in a leading role in work-winning (Single and multi discipline) focusing in the school market. You will be leading single discipline bids (MEP Engineering and specialists) where other consultancies provide architecture and/or structural engineering services as well as you will support multidisciplinary bids led by the architects. The school design hubs are located in Bristol, Leeds, Epsom and London and you will be expected to occasionally travel to those offices when the requirement is there. You will be reporting to the national education lead and the MEP engineering line manager (This depends on location), What you'll need to succeed To succeed you will need to have design experience within different school categories of schools (secondary, primary and SEND). You will need experience with working for end clients like local authorities, multi-academy trusts, free schools as well as working for D&B Contractors on school projects. You will need to have detailed knowledge of standards and guidance relating to schools as well as experience of procurement processes for national and local consultancy as well as D&B contractor framework. You will need to have proven experience of successful work-winning and delivery of schools projects within past employments.
