Lead Customer Support Consultant Location: Wokingham Salary: £24,000 - £27,000 Are you looking to change your career? If so then this could be the perfect role for you… My client based in Wokingham is looking for candidates who have experience of working in accounting based roles who are looking for a customer service based role. The Lead Customer Support Consultant will have a passion to use knowledge and experience of tax and financial reporting to deliver knowledge based solutions helping customers and will be great at building a rapport with customers. Daily Duties Answer 1st and 2nd line support telephone calls and emails providing exceptional customer care Build your knowledge of Tax and Accounts by researching and answering questions from customers Build your knowledge of our products and use this to offer customers support to ensure they have the best experience and use our products to their fullest potential. Raise enhancements requests/defects to be reviewed Assist existing and prospective customers with general sales enquiries, taking payments where necessary Suggest new or improvements to support materials Work collaboratively ensuring you are building your individual knowledge of the products offered and tax and accounting processes Identify areas the company can improve on, whether customer facing or internal processes Perform testing of pre-release products Product research into market requirements reflecting customer demand, competitor offering and statutory requirements Skills and Knowledge Experience of managing people An accountancy or finance degree An accountacy qualification (or part qualification) AAT, ATT, ACA or ACCA At least 1 years' experience of working with an accountancy practive which would include knowledge of at least two of the following: bookkeeping, final accounts preparation, tax return preparation, creation of iXBRL accounts for HMRC filing, use of accounts production, taxation and iXBRL software A confident, calm and concise telephone manner An excellent command of written communication An analytical and organised approach to problem solving An ability to interact positively with customers at all levels Impetus to take initiative and want to strive to innovate Influencing skills to get others to accept ideas and plan courses of action
