Ever thought of training to be a Mould Tool Setter ? This market leading, local manufacture are looking for trainees to join their three-year training programme which will provide both on the job and off-site training. Whilst training, you can expect an hourly rate of up to £8.21 per hour plus the opportunity of being part of a superb working culture. If this is you, we need to hear from you now. About the Job: An injection mould tool setter has responsibility for the efficient changes and setting of the tools and equipment to make the required products, you’ll learn how to: Changing the injection mould tool; appropriate equipment (water systems, grinders, robots etc.); material management; troubleshooting and process optimisation. Ensuring that machines in your respective area are operated to an acceptable standard and within the set target and costed cycle team. Deliver the agreed manufacturing targets through understanding the works order expectations, co-ordinating and enforcing systems, policies and procedures in line with agreements, policies and business derivatives. Always operate within a safe, clean, organised and efficient manner at all times. Work closely with the team, ensuring good communication at all times. Able to assume responsibility and aim to get things done right first time. About You: You’ll need to have completed some form of engineering course, or have worked within an engineering related environment, you’ll also need: Excellent communication skills with the ability to work unsupervised Strong problem-solving skills Be able to work effectively to resolve any issues without impacting the production levels is an essential part of the role. Be committed to complete the training programme. Note:As the underpinning training will be delivered in blocks off-site, you must be able to travel when required with nights away What are the pay and benefits?
