Overview
Our client is a peer-to-peer lending platform; bringing together lenders to fund loans secured on commercial property. The Credit Manager will have day to day responsibility for the Underwriting and Loan Management teams, providing management and oversight for all underwriting activities from loan application through to loan completion. The role: Building and developing the underwriting and loan management teams Managing loans from application through to credit approval Regular interaction with Lending Director and Credit Committee Assessing and recommending loan extensions to Credit Committee. Delivering excellent service within agreed service level agreements. Building and developing relationships with external parties such as solicitors, valuers and monitoring surveyors. Follow and keep up to date with current best practice and regulatory requirements in line with company training. About you: Extensive knowledge & understanding of development and bridging lending. Strong leadership and decision-making skills. Excellent organisational skills. Excellent communication skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work to tight deadlines. Ability to manage a team. Positive influence and proactive initiative. 5 - 10 year's experience of commercial and residential property lending including development lending.
