A busy multi-outlet hotel in the Windermere region of Cumbria is recruiting for a Sous Chef role Role: A fantastic hotel which is a popular dining venue with its own guests as well as other visitors to the region and locals is recruiting for an experienced Sous Chef to join the kitchen team.The hotel has a busy dining operation which includes a fine dining restaurant; a Brasserie restaurant; afternoon teas; lounge bar and is a popular venue for weddings.As a result the Head Chef is seeking a Sous Chef who can support them with the heavy workload of managing such a high volume dining operation ensuring that the high standards the venue is known for is essential and ensuring that the team of ten chefs are aware of their responsibilities. Requirements: All applicants applying for this role must be experienced Sous Chefs who are used to working in standards led, high volume dining operations where you were working with all fresh food.The ability to cope with assisting the Head Chef with their role whilst remaining ‘hands on’ in the kitchen with the ability to work across the sections is essential.A natural leader will excel in this role.
