Settlements and Reconciliation Systems Engineer Bracknell Berkshire Summary of the Job A fantastic opportunity to join the ATM as a Service Transactional Processing Global Centre of Excellence as a Settlements and Reconciliation Systems Engineer. This Bracknell UK based centre of excellence team are all dedicated passionate individuals working on Diebold Nixdorf's transactional processing platform. It is an integrated solution supporting a variety of activities for retail banking and card payments. The Payments Application allows connectivity to multiple channels, terminals, third parties and card schemes. We are looking for someone who understands the Settlement and Reconciliation process inside out, likely to have worked in the back office for a financial institution. We want to bring in house our S&R function offering automation of check and authorisation of transactions on our A2 Tranzaxis platform. Responsibilities Developing, supporting and maintaining the Settlement and Reconciliation process Being the go to person for Settlement and Reconciliation issues Check and Authorise transactions Charge Backs Responsible for the delivery of user stories Testing at various levels - development and system tests as per the project plan Quality delivery of Change Version control and release management Continuous improvement Testing using simulators and automation tools Trouble shooting /problem management 3rd Level Support Skills Expert knowledge of Settlement and Reconciliation Process Strong IT background Experience of back office process for a financial institution Payments domain knowledge from a payment services background in the technology space Understanding of regulatory compliance of Payment and Card industry (PCI), Visa, MasterCard, LINK, Discover and other schemes Base II, IPM, LREC, LDPF, Recap file structure and processing knowledge AutoRek or equivalent process Excellent verbal and written communication; JAVA/JavaScript, XML Object orientated methodology; Test Scripts ILIAD T3 - Payments Test Simulator (or other transaction processing simulators) Jenkins Cloud based infrastructure (such as AWS) Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence) Agile and waterfall methodologies Who We Are - Diebold Nixdorf - Customer Focus - Operational Excellence - Culture and Talent Find your future here Join our team of inventors, problem solvers and future-focused thinkers to be a part of building solutions that bridge the physical and digital worlds. 24,000 employees globally, 900 in the UK, trading in 130 countries with a revenue in excess of $4billion. 10 million service calls each year, 2 million installed POS and ATMS.
