Overview
Jenson Fisher have been engaged by an expanding business in Glasgow to recruit a Systems Accountant to join a small friendly team and take on and run a major project. This will entail introducing an integrated system to their operations. This role would suit an experienced Accountant who has some experience with systems implementation and would like to progress down this route. The main requirements: Managing a major project that will involve introducing a new system to operations There will also be a number of minor projects that the successful candidate would also be required to undertake Managing the day to day financial systems Liaising with external and internal stakeholders to drive change Ongoing process improvement and implementation to ensure all financial reporting is robust, efficient and effective Learning the systems, how they work and providing the day to day support to the business. This is a varied and challenging role and would suit someone who isn’t afraid of getting their sleeves rolled up and working in a people driven environment as part of a small friendly team. We are looking for an Accountant who has an interest in systems. You will either be ACCA/CIMA/ICAS Qualified or Qualified by experience.
