Senior Android Developer | £60k - £80k | Finance Platform | Central London Our client is a rapidly expanding finance platform in central London who are searching for a talented Senior Android Developer to join them full time. As a Senior Android Developer you will have the opportunity to work on a highly intricate finance app. With offices in NYC and London this finance platform have a large commercial reach. Due to a surge in new business, they now need a passionate Senior Android Developer to help build their next generation of Android applications. This is an immediate vacancy and we’re keen to interview asap for this Senior Android Developer position. Core skills required for this Senior Android Developer position: Have worked on high availability android apps in a commercial environment Android development frameworks Apps on play store Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning Knowledge of different Android versions and what is backwards compatible in them and what isn't Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
