Overview

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Works with the European practices to prepare and coordinate year-in-review reports for use in various industry survey submissions • Helps to develop and implement systems to acquire and manage representative experience in the Firm’s experience management system • Assists the Business Development and Marketing Manager and/or lawyers in the preparation of client proposals and pitches, through formal RFP response processes • Works with the team to help maintain a library of materials for pitches, proposals and RFP responses • Helps write and edit practice group descriptions, website news items, lawyer biographies and client presentations to further develop the Firm’s business development opportunities. • Helps conduct research on clients/prospective clients, industry research and occasional competitive intelligence to develop knowledge about our clients, their industries and legal needs • Works with the Manager and local practice leaders to support and coordinate regional business development initiatives, in collaboration with global practice area team liaisons • Helps support profile-raising marketing programs, events and sponsorships Ideal candidates must have legal marketing or business development experience and/or marketing or positioning in an international law firm environment or professional services industry.
