Overview
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a local company who are looking to hire two hardworking and reliable candidates to work in a busy assembly department. With the business growing and the workload increasing they are looking for someone with mechanical knowledge and experience working in a similar type of role. Interviews : ASAP Duration: Temporary - Permanent Location: Outskirts of Newmarket Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm Hourly Rate: £9.00 an hour holiday pay Duties will include: Assembling a range of products to required standards Servicing and repairing machinery Record details of repairs made, and parts used Reassemble machines and equipment following repair Test mechanical equipment to ensure proper functioning. Read work orders and engineering drawings Inspect mechanical equipment to locate damage, defects, or wear Assemble equipment using hand tools Adjust components according to specifications Clean equipment, parts, or tools to maintain them in good working order Always keep the working area clean and tidy May be required to travel off-site to customer properties to service/ repair equipment Skills and Experience Required: Previous experience in one or more of the following areas: mechanical fittings, hydraulic or electronic systems Full UK Driving Licence Telescopic Forklift Licence - would be desirable Ability to work on your own and within a team Accuracy and attention to detail Carrying out strict instructions to ensure standards are met Problem solving approach and methodical mindset Happy to work overtime during agricultural seasons If you have not received a response within 3-5 working days, unfortunately your application has been unsuccessful.
