Overview
My client, a specialist UK based Engineering and Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Graduate Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant to join a supportive Water Team based in Nottingham. It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background including a MSc and/or BSc in Hydrology, Environmental Management or Engineering focused on flood risk assessments and drainage strategy. Applicants are required to have experience using hydraulic modelling software including Flood Modeller or Infoworks ICM. This exciting opportunity will offer the chance to join a supportive team based in Nottingham. You will have the opportunity to complete varied Hydrological, Surface Water, Flood Risk and Drainage Projects for Private Sector Clients, Local Authorities and Water Companies. As a Graduate Flood Risk Consultant you will be required to complete technical work including Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications for flood zone 1,2 and 3, Flood Estimation using ReFH, Surface Water Management Plans, Drainage Strategy and detailed drainage design. Candidates will also be required to assist with Hydraulic Modelling projects using Infoworks ICM and Microdrainage.
