Overview

Role Purpose: Secure acceptance and approval of deliverables from the Project Sponsor and Stakeholders Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget Manage and lead project teams Co-ordinate third parties engaged in project work Produce detailed project plans Manage the delivery of project deliverables in line with project plans Resolve cross-functional issues at a project level Manage project scope and change control and escalate issues where necessary Monitor project progress and performance Be responsible for communication, including status reporting, risk management and escalation of issues that cannot be resolved by the project team Liaise with, and update progress to, the project board/senior management Work closely with clients to ensure the project meets business needs Skills and Knowledge Proven experience of working on large and complex projects and a track record of delivery Strong leadership skills Prince 2 Practitioner qualification Strong influencing skills with a track record of building effective networks Effective at building strong business relationships based around a strong spirit of collaboration Matrix management experience Experience in managing project costs Excellent attention to detail, organisation and the ability to manage own workload Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Ability to work under pressure and take ownership of issues Strong analytical and problem solving skills Considerable experience of using Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project) Salary & Benefits The salary is dependent on experience and industry knowledge.
