Overview
Experienced practice bookkeeper for small accountancy firm in Rochester Area. They are seeking a professional and experienced Bookkeeper to process external clients’ accounts. This position is full time on a permanent basis with a view to start immediately. Our client offers flexible working, a competitive salary and a friendly team to work with. Duties: • You will be working with a wide range of clients spanning from start-ups to larger companies, including limited companies, partnerships and sole traders • You will be involved in assisting clients with their bookkeeping work and VAT returns • Possibly also some accounts preparation work, assisting with payroll • Provide VAT return and VAT filing • Bank reconciliations and preparing month end accounts Essential requirements: • Qualified by experience, with experience of working with an accountancy practice • £25,000 base salary per annum plus benefits • Have a positive can-do attitude • A personable, customer driven, people person • Have a passion to go the extra mile to support client queries
