Management Accountant £30,000 - £35,000 Rochester Airport Industrial Estate- Free Parking Hours: Monday - Friday 25 hours per week Here at The Netbox Group we are recruiting for a Management Accountant to join our group of four companies. Due to growth and a recent acquisition this is an additional role where you will support the Finance Manager to deliver a precise collation of figures to the Director and Management team. The company employs 40 people at the head offices in Rochester, Kent. Turnover for the year ended 31st December 2019 was circa £5,000,000 Netbox Recruitment Ltd is a recruitment agency specialising in office-based employment on a permanent and temporary basis. The company employs 10 people at the Head Office in Ryarsh, Kent. Turnover for the year ended 31st December 2019 was circa £1,000,000 Netbox IT managed Services and a new acquired company makes up additional turnover Main purpose of the role of a Management Accountant: To assist the Finance Manager in producing monthly and quarterly accounts for all organisations, reporting any discrepancies in balances and figures. To minimise the Finance departments workload with the newly implemented direct debit system. Key responsibilities of a management accountant: Assist the production of monthly management accounts for all companies Assist with Balance Sheet Reconciliations Posting of monthly journals Assist with the monthly Direct Debit collections process Submission of quarterly VAT returns for all companies Reviewing monthly supplier payments runs for all companies Administering the temporary payroll for Recruitment and ensuring the candidates accrue the correct holiday hours Preparation of year-end packs for submission to the company's external accountants for the statutory accounts Ensuring HMRC are advised of any changes to the company car fleet Provide cover for the other roles within the Finance department as required You will need: Experience of working as a Management Accountant/Assistant Finance Manager and compiling management accounts AAT, ACCA or CIMA qualification Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills (including pivot tables, V Lookups and formulas) Strong communication Skills Experience of using Sage Line 50 Accounts Meticulous attention to detail Well organised with strength of prioritising Interviews available immediatley contact Bill to discuss on option 2
