Overview
I am working with an exciting and innovative developer based in Central London who are looking for a Junior Receptionist to join their fun and social team. They have a beautiful, open plan office where you will be able to learn more about the development side of property. This company really care about their staff and love to develop from within. The responsibilities will include: Grant access to guests and provide a warm professional welcome to internal and external visitors To project an excellent telephone manner and manage a busy switchboard with smooth, efficient transferring of incoming calls to the relevant parties or taking messages as appropriate Provide general administrative assistance including filing, photocopying, diary management and using a variety of software packages to produce correspondence, documents and templates, presentations, spreadsheets and databases. Make sure the meeting rooms are set up each morning (ensure the lights, TV, computers are switched on. Water and glasses ahead of each meeting on the black cabinet. Manage and facilitate a room booking system. Arrange refreshments for meetings and lunches as requested, ensure that meetings are kept to allotted timescale, clear rooms in a timely manner once meeting has finished and re set for following meeting. Ensure that daily incoming mail is distributed to the relevant parties. Take mail to the building reception by 3:30pm daily or post office if required Arrange couriers and Fed-Ex Monitoring stationery and ink cartridges supplies and preparing orders as required Ensure kitchen is always kept tidy and clean. Ensure that there are adequate provisions in kitchen/teapoints. Ensure that entrance area is kept tidy and well presented, ensuring that there are up-to-date magazines/newspapers on the table Running errands for admin team and directors as and when required The ideal Receptionist will be: Polite and welcoming Professional telephone manner Proactive and willing to get stuck in The position is paying £20,000 - £22,000.
