PowerBI Specialist (SSRS/Excel exporting) Stockton-on-Tees £45,000 per annum This is an opening with an organisation who rarely need to recruit, based up here in the North East; with national reach and recognition. This company have multiple projects and a team of real talent her on the verge of cutting edge Bespoke Business Intelligence solutions. To fully align their reporting platform with the rest of the business, we are looking for a PowerBI expert to join the business in an SME capacity. The business have an extensive reporting offering currently, though it terms of technology, it is lacking in comparison to the rest of the business; as Azure and all of the latest Microsoft releases are already in place. The aim of this role will be to facilitate full report migration from their legacy platform (SSRS & Excel) into PowerBI. The long term view of the role will see you work with your team of Data Engineers, to build a self-service suite of reporting for client use. The organisation have a very reputable name within the Technology market and are constantly breaking company records, year on year. We're looking for: - Microsoft BI Stack - SSRS, SSIS, SSAS - you will be working with the SQL Server platform for report migration, therefore good experience of working with it is essential - PowerBI - Expert and advocate of the BI Tool - Any experience of cloud technology is advantageous You will: - Review current reporting and look to export these reports into PowerBI - You will use your Microsoft SQL Server and other packages to action the above - Take responsibility for your own time, whilst working on multiple projects and undertaking various other responsibilities - Spend some of your time as a face for the business and help to translate advanced technical terminology in an effort to gauge requirements The team - Boast over 100 years of BI and SQL Server experience - Bring the world of data to life - Are given full autonomy to work together and often collaborate on different projects - Frequently mentor junior employees and take part in regular exercises to consolidate and refine their technical ability You'll receive an amazing benefits package, including: - Career progression - Amongst many others, including medical insurances for your family, personal development plans, free food & others
