Overview

Our client based in Cardiff is looking for a talented, hardworking and enthusiastic Finance/Admin Assistant to join their busy team. The position is offered on a part-time basis, 21 hours per week. Flexible working opportunities are available. Key Responsibilities: The main point of contact for financial enquiries (externally and internally) Co-ordinate and oversee external service providers regarding the accountancy function on a daily basis, which will include: Preparation of monthly management accounts Credit control Monthly invoicing Payroll Sales & Purchase ledger reconciliation Bank account reconciliation VAT return, preparation and submission Payment processing - expenses, creditors, VAT (Liaison with Directors for sign-offs) Data entry/processing File management Preparation and submission of monthly reports to Directors General day to day administration duties Essential Criteria: Fully competent in using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Accountancy systems experience (1 year) Previous experience in a similar role (1 year) Approachable and excellent communicator Ability to meet deadlines and organise/prioritise workload Analytical skills Benefits: Competitive salary Pension scheme Group income protection Group life assurance Private healthcare Flexible working arrangements Professional membership fees 25 days holiday per year (pro rata) plus bank holidays
