Overview
Position: Nurse (Nights) Location: Preston Salary: £17ph Shifts: 8pm to 8am – 3/4 shifts per week An exciting opportunity has become available at a well-established nursing home in Preston. They are looking for a qualified nurse to add to their team. The care home offers nursing and care for elderly and younger adults who may or may not have a physical disability. You would be working with one other nurse on the night shift and you would each be responsible for 26 beds. What the role involves: • Ensuring the well-being of all residents both long term and short term • ascertaining that their physical, emotional and social needs are met • Implementing personalised assessments and developing care plans to match each resident’s needs • Be dedicated to continuous professional development • Working alternate weekends What you’ll need: • Valid Nursing PIN (RGN) • Experienced providing care for Elderly people desirable, although not essential They will consider applicants who are RMN as long as you have proven general Nursing Home experience If this opportunity interests you, and you believe that you’ve got what it takes to be a successful candidate, I would be more than happy to arrange a conversation with you to discuss this further.
