Overview

The Connex Education London team is currently working with secondary schools across West London. We are looking for specialist behaviour support workers. The role of a Behaviour Support Worker is to support the young people who are no longer in a mainstream school setting due to social, emotional and mental health issues. We are continuing to recruit for this role as normal throughout the COVID-19 outbreak, so we do welcome your application. However, please be advised that all interviews will need to happen via video call. In order to apply for this role, it is imperative that you have a current enhanced DBS on the update service. It is your responsibility to investigate what motivates that child, what stimulates them to learn and the most effective way to build their confidence. Patience is key in this role with an understanding of the background that these students are coming from. Empathy is also a prime feature that we require you to have in order to be able to relate and build a strong rapport with the students.
