Overview
Support Workers urgently required for various long and short term temporary roles across Hatfield. Hays Social Care are currently working with the very best care providers across the Hatfield and Hertfordshire area. Based in either residential or supported living services, we provide support for people with complex and challenging behaviours associated with learning disabilities, mental health illness, physical disabilities and autism. These roles will involve working alongside a driven team of support workers to offer service users a sense of independence within a residential setting. Your role will include planning days out, dispensing of medication, organising social events within the care home, setting up personal care plans as well as being a support with day to day activities. You will need to be passionate about people with a desire to assist and work with service users to give them the confidence and guidance to live independently within the home. You will need to hold a full UK driving license. a minimum of 6 months social care experience ideally working with elderly service users but other experience will be considered.
