Overview
Social Worker - Community and Hospitals - Islington - £30 per hour We require a qualified social worker who will be able to work in the community and hospitals. They will require experience in MCA, safeguarding and reviewing service users who already have care. Strength based practice is essential in this role. Benefits as a Adults Social Worker: Great working location Fantastic pay rate up to £32 per hour Good public transport facilities Well-structured management Manageable caseload Duties as a Adults Social Worker: Manage a caseload of adults with care and support needs and carers with support needs in a hospital setting Meet the expectations of the Care Act 2014 and its complimentary regulations and statutory guidance Undertake safeguarding inquiries in accordance with Care Act 2014 duties Carry out assessments in hospital Determine the eligibility and care needs of service users Support the needs of the service user's carers Work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team providing consistent, timely, quality and financially sustainable social work services to adults, their carers and their families. Improve outcomes for adults, enabling them to have security, stability and enabling them to develop independence. Maintain high standards of professional practice and to provide social work services to adults in accordance with the legislative and regulatory framework and departmental guidance and procedure.
