Overview
Excellent new opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join an industry leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy for an initial 6 month contract in Liverpool. As the selected Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be working in the clients offices based near Liverpool. The key responsibilities will include: Reviewing existing Heating and Ventilations designs Liaising with the client and contractor to ensure designs are delivered correctly Communicating with the design team regarding design changes Participating in project meetings Supervise and coordinate the work of team members, including Junior engineer Essential skills, experience and attributes: Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering Chartered Engineer status through an appropriate professional institution such as CIBSE Extensive experience of mechanical building design across a range of project scales and building types Strong knowledge of relevant software, including Hevacomp and ideally IES Experience of tunnel ventilation design Able to liaise with clients and develop strong working relationships.
