Overview
Reed Accountancy are delighted to be recruiting a Senior Credit Controller for a local employer of choice. This job is the result of expansion and will join a well organised credit control team as a supervisor of 3 credit control staff. This is an excellent opportunity to use your existing leadership skills to ensure best performance of a successful team. Duties will include: The day to day management of the credit control team: ensuring that targets and deadlines are achieved in collecting debt within a high volume ledger Reporting to the Credit Control Supervisor on the debt position, misallocated debt and agreeing processes and procedures Dealing with queries on complex accounts Chasing outstanding debt on aspects of the ledger as part of the team by phone and email Cash allocation on a weekly basis Monitor overdue payments by use of the system Investigation of misallocated cash and monies Maintain accurate and up to date customer details and account records Prepare reconciliations, mail merge chase letters, direct debit collection files and final accounts Work to strict deadlines You will need to maintain confidentiality, ensure that the data protection act is adhered to and maintain a professional approach to all aspects of the work.
