Office Manager Our client since 2005 has designed, built and maintained gardens across London. We have established an outstanding reputation for quality and professionalism and take pride in providing the highest standards of garden services for our private and commercial and clients. Following a period of sustained growth, they are expanding an existing role and looking for a full time Office Manager to join our team in Putney. This role will involve administration and business development functions. Managing all administrative processes as well as supporting the leadership team in identifying, developing and delivering the organisational changes required to ensure the continued, successful growth of The Botanical Gardener. The position will play a critical role in delivering our aims to continually enhance and improve our customer’s journey. We believe that the role offers exciting opportunities to work for an established SME garden services company. Key Responsibilities To provide support and co-ordinate activities in the following areas:- Administration Implement and manage office policies and procedures, developing standards and promoting activities that enhance operations Administrative responsibilities include, amongst others; fleet management (MOT renewals etc), insurance procurement and insurance claims. Provide support and assist Maintenance Manager and Project Manager in delivering compliance with requirements of relevant trade bodies Planning and delivery of company events Provide support to Director, Maintenance Manager and Project Manager as required Human Resource Management Administrate in the recruitment process and subsequent induction and training of new employees Manage the HR platform - Guardian & Breath HR Monitor numbers of staff that have CSCS cards and DBS clearance Support the Maintenance Manager and Project Manager in recording staff timekeeping and client feedback Liaise with accounts on payroll and pension Co-ordinating and assisting in staff reviews Health and Safety Assist Project Manager and Maintenance Manager to ensure that Health and Safety procedures are followed and are up to date Public Relations Update the website and support the company’s social media Co-ordinate ongoing photography of gardens and build projects Advertising Company’s services Qualifications, Skills & Experience Essential Approachable, highly motivated team player with a strong customer focus At least 3 years’ relevant experience in Office Management or related Excellent command of Excel & Word Ability to prioritise and work under pressure Great communication, organisational and time management skills Preferred Detailed knowledge of social media across Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram Knowledge of HR platforms
