Overview
Our client is currently looking to recruit a Software Engineer on a permanent basis. As Software Engineer you will be creating robust and innovative embedded software in C# and C++ for a range of applications. Working collaboratively with a team that includes mechanical design engineers, electrical design engineers and other software engineers you will be working on projects that deliver market leading software to a diverse customer base. Software Engineer - Role and Responsibilities - Embedded Software / Firmware / C / Software Developer Responsible for the development of efficient software solutions, from the initial concept, top-level design right through to test and production of new software Create storyboards and flow diagrams appropriate to the product Development of a new Touchscreen embedded system (C, C++, GCC) Produce the necessary production files for manufacture of new designs and design changes Attend meetings when required and contribute to the team as a whole Give support to assembly department and external manufacturers when required Software Engineer - Skills and Abilities - Embedded Software / Firmware / C / Software Developer At least three years' experience in a Software Engineer role An electrical/electronic, software engineering or computer science qualification Experience with C/C++ (Ideally with embedded systems), C#, ASP.NET, Visual-Studio Software Engineer / Embedded Software / Firmware / C / Software Developer
