Overview
Trainee Paraplanner Stroud £21,000 - £25,000 Our client, an independent financial planning organisation is looking for a Trainee Paraplanner to join them on a full time, permanent basis. The role of Trainee Paraplanner offers career progression and support to become fully qualified. Ideally, you will already be studying towards your level 4 diploma and looking for the next step in your financial planning career. As a Trainee Paraplanner, you will be assisting Advisers to give the best possible service to clients, preparing recommendations and producing suitability reports. The successful Trainee Paraplanner will have excellent attention to detail, be technically minded and have a friendly and helpful approach. Responsibilities: Assist clients, both over the telephone and face to face appointments Liaise with suppliers Update and maintain client files Processing (applications, proposals, fund switches, purchases, withdrawals, instructions) Check paperwork, incoming and outgoing post Scan documents and ensure compliance Skill/ Experience: Educated to A level standard or equivalent Flexible and open to ideas Excellent organisation and time management skills A strong eye for detail and outstanding communication skills Strong numeracy and IT abilities Team player and able to work to strict deadlines Experience within a financial services environment Ideally studying towards your diploma in financial planning (desirable but by no means essential) A working knowledge of Xplan and FEAnalytics would be advantageous If you require any further information please contact Anna Rankin on GB Finance is your specialist in Accountancy and Financial Services recruitment.
