Overview

Are you a qualified accountant with relevant post qualified experience in a business partnering capacity? Do you have strong stakeholder management experience from a complex multi-faceted organisation? Do you possess advanced Excel Skills and data manipulation skills? We are looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join this unique and exciting but extremely complex organisation based in the heart of London. In this role, you will act as the Business Partner to this key directorate within the organisation, providing financial support for decision-making and ensuring that budgets, forecasts and the long term financial models reflect the boards strategic delivery plan. Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, the post holder will provide accurate and timely management information, budget monitoring analysis and advice to key stakeholders and budget holders, ensuring a culture of financial accountability and cost efficiency. Your key responsibilities will include: Develop and invest in key relationships with senior managers and budget holders, meeting with them regularly and developing a deep understanding of the directorates activities and priorities Act as the first point of contact on finance matters, directing staff to other parts of the finance team as appropriate but ensuring they receive a consistent and joined-up service Financial planning; Set and manage the timetable to produce phased budgets and quarterly re-forecasts Build strong relationships with budget holders and support them with the preparation of budget and forecast submissions Consolidate departmental budgets and forecasts and work with the Director of Finance to produce relevant papers and presentations for the trustees and sub-committees Prepare of financial models or analysis to support the evaluation of key decision making Look to improve processes and worker smarter, using Excel modelling and collaborating with your finance colleagues to design and build management reports and drive best practice to ensure that your customers receive an excellent service Work with the other finance business partners to develop the business partnering model, helping to provide a consistent and high-quality service to the key stakeholders Provide financial training and support to non-finance colleagues as required The successful accountant will be an ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA qualified accountant with relevant post qualified experience. You must have experience working as a finance business partner/management accountant covering all aspects of budgeting, forecasting and management reporting within a large complex organisation. It is imperative that you have excellent IT skills are essential including advanced Excel and data manipulation skills. Possessing the ability to use Excel to design and build management reports, as they seek to design, implement and improve ways of working. You must have a hands-on approach to their current situation and get satisfaction on improving processes and delivering new and effective outcomes to ensure that your customers receive an excellent service. You must possess first-class oral and written communication skills and being adept with communicating and presentation to senior management and committees to explain key financial issues to non-finance staff.
