Occupational Therapist - Adults

Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking a Qualified Occupational Therapist to work within a intermediate care rehab unit for older people in Eastbourne, East Sussex. Job Purpose Milton Grange is a Adult Social Care service which runs an intermediate care rehab unit for older people, and the therapy team currently cover mix of 27 generic inpatient beds, 10 elderly mental health beds, and a mental health Outreach service. We require an experienced OT ideally with at least 5 years post-qualifying experience with a broad mix of acute NHS and general intermediate care/rehabilitation, to mainly work on our busy generic unit. There may also be some need to cover downstairs ad-hoc so mental health/dementia experience would also be helpful but not essential. You will be working alongside a varied MDT including physios, nurses, social workers, and rehab support workers on the unit so your interpersonal and communication skills will need to be excellent. There are also therapy assistants who will need oversight and guidance on a daily basis. You will need to be: HCPC registered Eligible to work in the UK Why Choose Remedy?
