Junior Assistant Management Accountant - £18,000 to £24,000 plus study support - Birchwood Your new company Your new company are a well-established organisation who are looking to grow their team by adding a Junior Assistant Management Accountant to the business. Our client develops their employees and are offering a progressive role and are looking for someone who is ambitious and wants to progress within the company. Your new role Within your new role you will have exposure to a wide range of responsibilities and have the opportunity to work with a few qualified accountants. Your role will be varied including opportunity to get involved with lots of different project work. Your general responsibilities will include: Detailed month end balance sheet analysis and reconciliations Financial reporting and analysis Opportunity to assist with management accounts Submission of VAT returns Adhoc project work as required and to support development Prepare reports and explain variances to budget/forecast/prior months Involvement in implementing improvements to financial procedures What you'll need to succeed AAT or degree qualified or just started studying towards a professional qualification (ACCA or CIMA equivalent) Good financial awareness, Good system knowledge Proficient with excel What you'll get in return £18,000 - £24,000 p/y plus study support Excellent benefits package 25 days holidays plus the option to buy an additional 5 days holiday Excellent pension scheme Free car parking Modern office facilities Opportunities for development What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
