Overview
iMultiply are delighted to be exclusively engaged on the role of Assistant Accountant for a marketing leading business based in Edinburgh City Centre. The role will be for a fixed term of 12 months and is offering a salary of £25,000 - £30,000. The Company The company are a well-established market leader with a multi-national client base. They have undergone a number of changes of late; however seem to be coping well given the recent Covid-19 outbreak. The Role The role of Assistant Accountant will report into the Financial Controller, with a dotted line to the Finance Director. The successful individual will ideally be ACCA or CIMA part-qualified and will have experience of producing management accounts including balance sheet reconciliation, posting journals and calculating accruals/prepayments. This individual will have exemplary relationship building and communication skills; as well as being able to work effectively from home. On Offer The role of Assistant Accountant will be on a 12 month fixed term basis and is offering a salary of £25,000 - £30,000. The office is based in Edinburgh City Centre and is easily accessible via public transport. You will be involved in but not limited to the following duties: Reporting into the Financial Controller Preparing and posting journals Balance Sheet Reconciliations Calculating accruals and prepayments Engaging with stakeholders with regards to variance analysis Supporting other functions such as Credit Control Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register To be considered for this role you must: Have experience of producing management accounts Be ACCA or CIMA part-qualified (desirable) Have experience and be proficient in the use of ERP software(s) e.g. Microsoft Dynamics Have excellent MS Excel skills including pivot tables and lookups Have exemplary interpersonal and communication skills If you interested in finding out more about this opportunity, please do not hesitate to get in touch with Jack Ramage for a private and confidential discussion.
