Senior International Operations Technician job, City, up to £45,000, working for a global Lloyd's Broker Your new company Your new job working as a Senior International Operations Technician, will be working for an innovative and growing Independent Global Lloyd's Brokers who have been established for over 100 years. With offices based in the UK, USA and worldwide your new Brokers pride themselves on understanding the importance of being client-focused and are growing in all areas, they have recently been named an employer of choice. Due to substantial growth within their Open Market Team a permanent position as a Senior International Operations Technician has arisen within their London City office. Your new role Your new job working as a Senior International Operations Technician handling Open Market business means you will be responsible for providing a quality service to agents covering all aspects of their insurance. Your job will be working alongside Brokers checking and auditing the MRC slips as well as suggesting amendments and advising on issues of cover to the Brokers. You will also produce debit/credit notes and chase, receive and process bordereaux premiums. Other duties will include overseeing and other team members and helping then with any technical assistance. Sending the documents to the Bureau, assisting the Technical team with processing technical queries and maintaining statistical information such as profit commissions. This is a unique opportunity for a senior Technician and team leader role. What you'll need to succeed Your previous experience working as a Technician in a similar role will contribute to your success in securing this role. you will have a strong understanding of MRC slips and be able to check and audit them as well as experience of processing documentation. You will have high attention to detail and be able to use your own initiative. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will have knowledge of Excel and Outlook.
