Relief Support Worker
Overview
Relief Support Worker required for a number of shifts around Bristol, Gloucestershire and Bath Your new organisation You will be working across a number of organisations in Bristol and the surrounding areas, supporting a wide range of supported housing providers including mental health, homeless, substance misuse and complex need. You will joining organisation's who are focused upon providing a safe and supportive environment where vulnerable people can make life changes, develop responsibilities and make the move towards independent living. Your new role You will be joining a wide range of supported housing organisations on a relief basis, working a wide range of shifts including waking nights, weekends, and days. You will support service users from a variety of backgrounds. You will be dealing with sensitive issues such as self harming, mental health issues and drug and alcohol problems. This role is challenging yet rewarding and someone who really wants to make a difference to young people's lives is essential. What you'll need to succeed As a Support Worker you will need experience within a previous role to be successful. As you will be working with vulnerable young people, experience within these clients is essential. This is really an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking to pick up extra work along side their current job, or for someone who is looking to build up their experience within supported housing. You will need a strong mind-set and a passion for wanting to make a difference.
