Overview

Support Workers needed on an ad-hoc basis to cover early, day, late and night shifts Your new company We work with several housing associations and charities in Bristol and surrounding areas that support people who may be homeless, at risk of homelessness, suffer from mental health, substance abuse and domestic violence. Your new role You will be picking up ad-hoc shifts, during the week and at weekends, to support the current team, cover periods of sickness and annual leave or gaps in the rota. We aim to plan shifts in advance, but you may sometimes be required at short notice. In this role you may be working one on one with service users; running activities; responding to queries; signposting to internal and external agencies and acting as a point of contact for tenants. This role is challenging yet rewarding and someone who really wants to make a difference to young people's lives is essential. It would suit someone who is looking to pick up some extra hours, gain more experience in supported housing or fit in work around study. What you'll need to succeed As a Support Worker you will need experience within a previous role to be successful. As you will be working with vulnerable young people, experience within these clients is essential.
