New to the market, a Leadership opportunity for a Head of Operational Resilience, Edinburgh £85,000 - £95,000 Your new company An exciting and rare opportunity with an evolving and entrepreneurial technology business has arisen for a Head of Operational Resilience. With a number of assets in their portfolio, this business is constantly developing new ways to simplify, improve and revolutionise how they help customers. Our client are an award winning organisation with a presence internationally and across the UK. Our client is looking to expand operations with a new Head of Operational Resilience which will have a significant impact business wide across key areas including information technology, risk management and assurance. Joining a refreshing and vibrant business this opportunity would be suitable for a a strong leader with the ability to motivate, influence and facilitate change across an Enterprise Risk model. Your new role This is a key senior role within the structure, central to the development and continued embedding of risk management with a particular focus on operational resilience across technology, IT risk management, business continuity and framework management. This role will translate meaningful MI to a wide audience, horizon scanning and identifying points of weakness across processes. As Head of Operational resilience you will facilitate and embed preventative measures to monitor all threats to resilience. This role supports the board and management committees in their understanding and oversight of operational risks across the business. This role will effectively protect against operational disruptions and the minimising of associated losses across a wide and complex business model. What you'll need to succeed You will be an experienced Risk specialist with significant experience across complex organisations in a leadership capacity. You will need strategic and commercial awareness with a good level of technological experience gained within a Risk management environment translating meaningful MI from regulators, you will be able to engage and motivate business wide stakeholders, changing flexing and adapting to an evolving landscape. This is a visible role across the organisation as a key facilitator leading the development and implementation of a programme of testing to assess ability to operate within defined impact tolerances. To undertake this role effectively you will have a an enquiring mind, strong business continuity and change experience across a risk centric environment. This role would suit a resilient individual who is passionate about delivering value added solutions to the operational resistance model.
