Overview
Job Description Drymen Primary are looking for a Principal Teacher to join their enthusiastic team. You will be a core member of the school’s senior leadership team and take forward delegated responsibilities across the school as well as lead on school improvement priorities. You will model the highest standards of learning and teaching and will inspire, motivate and support colleagues in the development of their own classroom practice. Responsibilities We are looking for a Principal Teacher who: • has an excellent pedagogical knowledge of learning and teaching • is committed to continuous improvement • motivates, guides and leads others • leads learning and improvement • works effectively with a wide range of stakeholders to bring about improvement • uses skilled interactions when dealing with pupils, colleagues and parents and partners • has experience of supporting and planning for children with additional support needs You will hold an appropriate primary qualification and be an experienced classroom practitioner who has experience of leading improvement. The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for children.
