Overview
You can make a positive difference to someone in need Newcross Healthcare is seeking dedicated and motivated Care Assistants to give excellent care to a service user living with down syndrome and a spinal cord injury in their own home in Leicester. T his position will involve ongoing shifts and a full drivers license is desirable for going out into the community. A typical day can include personal care, clinical needs, assisting with mobility and helping the client access the local community to engage in interests and hobbies. You'll already have a minimum of 3 months experience under your belt and hold a valid Moving and Handling certificate. We do also accept candidates with experience of caring for a loved one.
