Overview
My client are a leading engineering business who are seeking a Management Accountant to join their finance team in their Head Office located in Greenford. This Management Accountant position is a newly created role due to the amount of growth they have experienced and the plans for further expansion over the next 18 months. This Management Accountant will report directly to the Financial Controller and you would be responsible for the preparation, development and analysing of the management accounting information. The role will be very hands on and will offer a lot of exposure to Senior Management as well as a continuous variety of responsibilities. Your role will pivotal to assisting the business' decision making and will offer plenty of opportunity to partner with non-finance teams such as the sales and operations divisions. The responsibilities will include being responsible for the month end process and reviewing variance analysis. It is vital that all variances are understood and you have the ability to deliver insightful commentary for Senior Management. You will be responsible for ensuring that balance sheet reconciliations are completed and reviewed to agreed deadline with all variances investigated and resolved. The ideal candidate will be a newly qualified CIMA candidate or equivalent with experience in the engineering/FMCG sector but this is not essential. The ability to clearly articulate their experience and communicate with Senior Management on a daily basis.
