Overview
Your New Employer Located in Blackpool, this well respected Retail organisation have grown in stature in a challenging and competitive industry. With an ever increasing customer base, this business are a leader in their particular field and seek to grow further as they continue to expand. Your New Job As the Bookkeeper, you will play an integral role, overseeing various duties, such as Payroll, Sales Ledger and Credit Collections. You shall record the day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process. You will confirm that all transactions are recorded in the appropriate suppliers’ ledger. You will ensure that the books are brought to trial balance stage, perform checks on the posting process, complete tax forms and manage the accounts payable/receivable. You will also be preparing the monthly P&L, assisting with the year-end audit and ensuring that all accruals and pre-payments are dealt with in a timely and effective manner. Your Experience & Our Requirements Our Client is looking for a conversant Bookkeeper, with a proven track record of processing a large amount of transactions on a daily and weekly basis. Ideally you’ll have at least 2 years’ experience dealing with sales ledger, payroll and credit control duties and be someone who relishes working in a fast paced and energetic environment. You’re an excellent problem solver with the ability to think on your feet. Your ability to deliver customer service will be second to none and you’ll possess an excellent telephone manner. As a successful applicant you will have a working knowledge of both SAP and Sage.
