Position: Commercial Analyst Location: Head Office, Epsom, Surrey Job type: Full Time, Permanent Hours: 39.5 hours per week, 8.00am - 5.00pm, Monday to Thursdays and Fridays from 8am to 4:30pm Salary: £Competitive Benefits: company bonus scheme an enhanced contributory pension scheme and annual holiday starting at 24 days annual leave entitlement plus 8 bank holidays, paid training and development, contributory pension scheme, employee assistance scheme etc. About the role: - Implement and maintain operational pricing including equipment pricing. - Support Sales teams with quotes and pricing to ensure profitability for the company. - Work and support the contract administrators to ensure the contracts pricing is correct and effective for the company. - Maintenance of company discounts – creating and maintaining of all customer discount including flagging when discounts are due for renewal and informing the appropriate channels. - Analyse contractual agreements and quotes ensuring Company Policy on profitability is adhered to. This includes enforcing the commercial authorisation process. - Proactively analysing the business and present data to assist Managers to develop their business sector. - Carry out analysis on any price amendments or changes and inform those responsible of findings. - Maintain and issue new pricing matrixes, sales tools and price listings. - Benchmark pricing against competitors. - Communication and presentation of reports and analysis to all levels throughout the organisation, from field sales management to director level. - Point of contact for all pricing queries. - Meet requests for analysis and information in timely manner. - Present analysis in accordance with guidelines set. - Advising findings of analysis completed to those responsible. - Business Partner non-finance colleagues. About you: - Minimum intermediate level in Microsoft Office packages particularly excel, word and powerpoint. - Knowledge and experience of using Dynamics 365. - Knowledge and experience of using Microsoft SQL. - Excellent communication skills for presentation of information both verbally and in written format to all levels. - Highly analytical and numerate. - Negotiation skills. - Excellent time management skills to meet tight deadlines. - Attention to detail to evidence accuracy in all work produced and complete / follow through on all tasks. - Commercial acumen. - Highly proactive, with the ability to work autonomously and of own initiative.
