Overview

Job Description: Our client works with some of the world’s leading investors, finance lenders and European Banks to assist them in accessing the consumer and commercial receivables markets. Following a re-structure the business is now looking to appoint Head of Analytics. Reporting to MD the Head of Analytics is responsible for all external and internal reporting as well as operational analytical and strategic development. You will manage 6 and form part of the senior management team providing expert input into the decision making of the company. Further Responsibilities: Analytical development to improve collections results, increase revenue, reduce costs and identify opportunities for the operation to improve performance. Liaise with external data suppliers and industry specialists to ensure the business remains at the forefront of the use decision science. Provide accurate reports to group and external companies, including rating agencies. Supervise the production of month-end reporting packs and KPI reports with appropriate commentary. Work with the operation and Credit Reference Agencies in reviewing and developing strategy and ensuring the use of data within processes is maximised. Work with the business development team and ‘Heads of’ as required to in helping them improve strategies for existing and new clients. Review and recommend developments to enhance operational forecasting to enable operational teams to plan effectively. Actively support and promote the firm’s corporate values and ensure all actions and activities promote a culture of teamwork, resilience and high performance. The Person : 3 years relevant analytical and decision science experience, preferably within FS but due consideration will be given to those in other sectors. Strong analytical and reporting skills and able work effectively with large data volumes. Ability to understand development and reporting requests and determine their fulfilment. Solve sometimes complex problems and implement effective solutions. Experience of programming in SAS. Proficient in Microsoft and Advanced Excel. Ability to engage, communicate and persuade at a senior level. Ability to motivate, inspire and lead others.
