Software Test Consultant Manchester Healthcare, Income protection, Industry Certifications Do you have an appetite for delivery quality technical solutions for high performance environments? We are recruiting for an award winning Software Consultancy who is searching for a passionate Automation Software Test Consultant, with at least 5 years experience of both Automation Testing and Agile working, to join their team. The successful Software Test Consultant will be working as part of the Project Development team within an Agile environment so you will need to have worked in a fast paced, dynamic environment previously. This is a great opportunity to work with some of the world's biggest organisations and develop an impression project portfolio. Essential Skills Required for the Software Test Consultant: Automated software testing experience Selenium Web and Device testing (mobile and cross browser) Agile Methodologies Writing own Test Scripts Created own Frameworks from scratch Experience in defining and implementing appropriate Test Strategy and Approach Develop Test Plan as required to mitigate the risks to system quality and obtain stakeholder support for this plan Strong project management skills Resource planning Demonstrable knowledge of generating and communicating Test Metrics and Reporting Track and prepare the report of testing activities like test testing results, test case coverage, required resources, defects discovered and their status, performance baselines etc. Document, implement, monitor, and enforce all processes for testing as per standards defined by the business Experience of reviewing documentation Ensure content and structure of all test documents / artefacts are documented and maintained Understand and provision hardware and software requirements for the test team where required Ensure the timely delivery of different testing milestones Provide test estimates Experience in working with Technical Architects to understand technical risk Involvement in technical discussions with development and peer group Report issues and risks to the Project Manager This company has a lot to offer its employee's including: Healthcare and income protection, Life insurance Assistance with professional and industry certifications Competitive Salary and Rewards Structure Company shares opportunities Fully stocked kitchens Flexible working hours Secondment opportunities between UK and USA Lunch learns, Tech talks and coding challenges If you are passionate about technology and always looking for ways to expand your knowledge and grow your skills, we would love to hear from you.
