Overview
Are you a multi-skilled plant engineer looking for a new role? Are you highly skilled and confident engineer capable of planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of equipment? Are you looking to work independently as a Site Engineer on a days based maintenance role? Kingscroft have been asked to recruit for a Site Engineer across 2 Birmingham based sites working with recycling equipment and renewable energy. Our client is a major player in highways construction services and is developing its recycling and renewable power capacities. As the ideal candidate you be skilled in mechanical and electrical maintenance and be able to work independently creating an effective maintenance schedule. The role will involve: Carrying out mechanical and electrical maintenance on 2 Birmingham based sites Maintaining the output and effectiveness of a Biomass operation that processes recycled wood to generate energy Maintaining the effectiveness of a Recycling Transfer Plant that is sorting material so it can be recycled Working with the business to create planned maintenance schedules Fault finding and diagnostics for breakdowns and carrying out effective repairs Maintaining H&S across engineering and maintenance projects Supervising 3rd party contractors for site works Working on bulk materials handling, screening separating equipment, crushing and pulverising systems, material feeding equipment and biomass boilers.
