IT Support Technician. Winners Recruitment are recruiting an IT Support Technician for a permanent position based in Redruth, Cornwall. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly technical team of experienced support technicians who deliver on-site support to customers. Your job as the IT Support Technician will be to resolve IT technical issues at business client sites, offering full server side diagnosis and troubleshooting to maintain the customers' IT infrastructure; PC and server assembly and on site troubleshooting and installation as necessary. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering multi-client support solutions in a small business environment. You should ideally be exceptionally strong at following procedure and ensuring quality in everything you do. This is a customer facing role and you will also need to be calm under pressure, have a positive, friendly, can-do attitude and a good sense of humour. To apply you will need practical experience of IT technical solutions delivery and have some knowledge, implementation and support of WatchGuard XTM range of Firewalls, MS Server 2003 / 2008/ 2012, MS Exchange 2007 / 2010/ 2013, MS SQL Server, Windows 7/ 8/ 10 and Unix / Linux. Full, You will also need experience of troubleshooting / maintaining Windows Clients 7/8/10. Experience of troubleshooting / maintaining Windows Server /2008/2012/2016. Experience of supporting end users in a domain environment. Troubleshooting TCP/IP. Configuring and troubleshooting ADSL connections. Configuring and troubleshooting LAN and WAN routers. Configuring and troubleshooting firewall appliances. In return you will get a salary of circa £25,000 plus benefits depending on skills and experience. There is parking at the Redruth office and use of a pool van for customer visits. There is also a staff room to relax in during breaks and a staff focused office culture. The hours are 40 per week with a rota system of earlier starts and finishes Monday to Friday between 8am and 9am. You will need a full, clean driving licence.
