1st Line Technical Support

If you would like to start your career in IT and Technical Support then this is a wonderful opportunity for you. We are working with our client in Hertford who is looking for 1st Line Technicians to join their team. They would like to find people with a passion for IT and really technical interest. You don't need to be experienced or qualified, as training will be provided, but you will have good base knowledge that you have acquired through perhaps building your own PC at home, or through your hobby. What you will have is a great telephone manner and an aptitude for customer service. This is a busy role and you will be dealing with customers who need quick resolutions. They way you deal with their call will make all the difference to their day, and will reflect positively on the company Duties: Take inbound calls from customers Help with 1st line calls Take diagnostic information Pass on calls to 2nd/3rd line support where necessary Follow up and close jobs Provide excellent customer service You will be: Keen and eager to learn Naturally interested in technology Friendly and polite, happy to talk on the phone The salary for this role is £18,000 to £20,000, depending upon your level of experience.
