Overview
Experienced Java Developers with strong JS skills required for a large media and enterainment organisation in Leeds I am recruiting for experienced Java Developers with excellent Javascript skills for a well-known media and entertainment organisation who are seeing significant growth for their new product team based in Leeds City Centre. As part of the role, you will deploy the development of excellent quality software using agile techniques such as Test-Driven Development and Pair Programming, automated multi-layer testing. You will help the team choose the best solution and technologies for the task in hand and take a pro-active role with production issues and release management. You will contribute to the technical direction of the team and participate in the full software life-cycle, including support and continuous integration. Your main technical skills should include: Java Experience of best of breed open source and commercial technologies (Core JavaScript, React, Redux, Node.js) Knowledge of wider architectural, testing and DevOps capabilities Ideally you will have commercial experience in the tech stack above, be enthusiastic and keen to always develop and learn new skills.
